on youtube it said the full list was behind this link... but there is no list as far as i can see.. pretty dumb
Sorry, it was at the top of the page but I have been answering everyone’s questions. Please scroll down for the full list of movies used in the mashup. I will leave that answer at the top for a bit.
Your trailer was fucking amazing and it kind of gave me the nudge to watch all the films I've been meaning to.
Glad it was worthy of the f-bomb. Cheers!

have you seen the majority of these movies or just the trailers? it seems highly unlikely but I wouldn't know for sure.
We have a program in Canada called SCENE which grants you a free movie after you use your credit card. I’ve accumulated so many points that it allows me to see a large number of movies without paying a fortune. There are a few ones that I did not see but will eventually catch up to.

Fantastic job. How many movies total are in this piece? :)
182 is my count. A few had to be left out unfortunately like Tyler Perry’s Madea movie (although I have yet to hear anyone complaining).

This is awesome! you made the movies looks more interesting! How long did it take you to mash up a 6:46 footage?
Execution took three weeks, but the ideas within the video have been lingering in my mind all year. As soon as I saw the “We have a Hulk” Super Bowl ad for The Avengers, I knew it had to be a punchline for my end-of-year mashup.

Hello, do you have a list available of the music that was used for your trailer mash-up?
1. ‘Pruit Igoe’ - Composed by Philip Glass
2. ‘Tick Tick Boom’ - Performed by The Hives
3. ‘Outro’ - Performed by M83
im thinking to do a movie with all what happened in 2012, i wanted your authorization to include a segment of your video, please...
Sure, none of this content belongs to me in the first place. Just make sure to pick one of the good parts :)

Wow, impressive. So what is that song you use over the 3rd segment, the soaring ethereal one...I've heard it in a trailer before, maybe for Cloud Atlas? Do you have a favorite or several favorite movies? Just out of curiosity..
M83 - Outro is the song. Favorite movies for me in 2012 (mind you December looks great): ParaNorman, Cloud Atlas, Oslo August 31st, Beasts of the Southern Wild, Wreck-it-Ralph, Silver Linings Playbook.

This is briliant, Godfrey Reggio - Koyaanisqatsi, Powaqqatsi, Naqoyqatsi meets Chrstian Marclay - The Clock!
Glad you enjoyed it! Never had the chance to see The Clock but I certainly know about its legendary reputation. Marclay will go down in history books as the grandfather of mashups/supercuts.
